Objectives

GreenOMorph pioneers a radical shift in electronics by harnessing eco-friendly organic materials, low-temperature manufacturing, and neuromorphic computing. We design sustainable tactile sensory neurons that combine high performance with a minimal environmental footprint, setting new standards for responsible technology development.

Challenges

GreenOMorph aims to reduce the significant environmental impact of electronics through a new approach that involves:

  • Developing new ferroelectric materials based on biopolymers for tactile sensors.

  • Developing new organic semiconductor materials (p-type and n-type) for transistors (OTFT and OECT).

  • Manufacturing tactile sensors using NIL and complementary electronics and the synaptic system using additive manufacturing.

  • Designing and fabricating the artificial sensory neuron.

  • Validating the recyclability of metals (Au) and substrates.

  • Demonstrating an OASN (Organic Artificial Sensory Neuron) without critical or hazardous materials.
